i really hate the people in my comptuer programming classit seems like everyone is really anxious to show off their "programming experience" to the teacher and to the rest of the class. Here's the deal: we're learning this language called Scheme. As far as I know, it has no real-world use. I mean nobody is building applications out of Scheme; it's just used as an introduction to programming. Ok....I get that, but some people don't. My philosophy of the class is let the teacher lead it. She will introduce the material when she sees fit. The kids don't get that. As soon as we learn something new, they're asking about overly complex things to do with them. Like strings. Less than a minute after we are first introduced to strings, some punk-ass is asking about escape characters. FUCK YOU. You will learn about excape characters when deemed so. (which ended up being next lesson...but that's besides the point). Another one: we learned how to make our own procedures, which are equivilant to functions in about any other language. We learned how to write a procedure that takes the average of 2 arguments. Fuck-head student #2: "how would you write a procedure with an unknown number of arguments." FUCK YOU STUPID GODDAMNED PUNK-ASS BITCH. Teacher: "Ha ha ha. We'll get to that. Towards the end of the semester you slobbering piece of suck-upping pee stain."
