This is my first real post here...I'll start with saturday night. A guy on my floor invited me to a house party. Lots of fun. Everyone there was very impressed with my beer-pong skills. mad skillz....
Threw up when i got home...no fun.
enough about that
Classes started monday. Here's my summary:
M212 - Calculus 2
it's a pretty big class, and really hot. It's not until 10:10 which is pretty nice. It's really crowded, the teacher thought there were more people than there should be. Either he's right or he's crazy. He's also kinda old.
2 hour break
Went to Penn Station
C212 - Intro to computer science
This one should be alright. The teacher has a weird and awkward connection to my family. Aaron had her husband in a class, Amy tutored her daughter, and Andy had her for the same class. I haven't introduced myself yet; i'm going to wait and see if she recognized another Hinz
E104 - How thought depends on language
this might be an interesting class. It's about how people of different languages think differently, and also how our environment affects the mind. The teacher is really funny too. He's a vietnam veteran who can't work computers. He's also really big on attendence. He kept making comments to the late kids. "And with this class of 110 students...(student walks in late)....how many students is that?" "111." fun stuff.
H105 - Spanish
I think this will be my least favorite class. We can only speak spanish in there, which is kinda a bitch. Luckily it's a pretty low-level class, so the first day was pretty much "como te llamas?" and the likes. the second day wasn't so bad. A little easier, i think.
Thats all for now. this is probably the longest i'll ever post on here.
